Leadership 9 Year-End
The Great Discoveries In This Year
The Transition
From Middle School to High School, Leadership has affected my life as a developing teenager.
New information and skills that I have not yet explored.
The 7 Habits For Highly Affected Teens
(Life Changer)

A leader and a follower
A better person
Made new friends
Grown in friendships
taught me important skills.
Be Proactive
Missions & Goals
Put First Things First
Think Win-Win
Sharpen The Saw
Three leadership skills
Problem Solving
& Determination
I have definitely grown in these skills because before Leadership 9, I wasn't exactly determined to be involved in Leadership. Stepping outside my comfort zone, I have succeeded in demonstrating my(Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood)problem solving skills.

Acknowledging people's accomplishments & Listening
I continue to share compliments to others in my classmates, friends and families lives. I listen intently to people(like the 7 habits; listen genuinely)with respect and understanding

Progressively, my skills in organization have grown over the year. I've gotten better at organizing events and organizing people's roles in what to do.

Timidity-I was and am a little bit hesitant to speak because I am afraid to speak out of turn, or because people won't understand what I am trying to get at or because I have a lisp that affects my self confidence

The 7 Habits in my life
Habit 1: Be Proactive
I've taken responsibility for my consequences in my life. From speaking English in a french class or getting in trouble in another class, I always stand up to my problems, instead of retreating from them.
I take initiative in leadership and in my life at home, seeing a problem or a task and getting it done.
Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
This year, I have created goals, such as:
Becoming Jr. Athletics rep.
Having higher than 80% in every subject
Becoming a man of integrity
Habit 3: Put First Things First
Prioritizing and executing my homework to receive a better mark in school
Habit 4: Think Win-Win
Having a mutual relationship with my classmates where we can both win or benefit in the situation.
Studying together or just helping each other with work.
Habit 5: Seek First to Understand,
Then to be Understood
I listen genuinely to people
I care and respect others
I like to think I keep a open mind
I use my positive problem solving skills to help my problems in difficult times
Habit 6: Synergize
I always try to work together with others to achieve more in every question, problem or subject.
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
Over the year, I have enjoyed sharpening the saw.
Renewing my soul, heart and body
Eating candy, sleeping and reading my bible
Mentor This Year
I honestly don't know who has mentored me more than you, Ms. Sampson.
In this class, you have taught me the 7 Habits, which has helped me in my life.
To be more active in Leadership
To be awkward, so I wouldn't be awkward
I used to be super quiet, you'd shown me how to step out of my shell
To expose my wild side
In doing so, I've been enjoying the moments in life and what life has brought me so far

Thank you for impacting my life, and introducing me to myself.
