Based on the length of service and provisions set out in collective bargaining agreement.
A redundant individual recieves statutory pay in the event of the collective agreement pay being lower than statutory serverence pay.
After a year of service, statutory severence pay is calculated as one fifth of montly salary per year of service plus two fiftheenths of monthly salary per year after ten years' service.
