Real Media Conventions {180 degree / match on action / shot reverse shot / continuity} Before I came to College my experience with digital technology was limited: I had never used a mac before but I had edited a short video that my brother had filmed on his mobile phone, using windows movie maker. Therefore, I had some understanding of ordering clips in a timeline but hadn't used any of the effects that I have since learned about whilst working on my AS portfolio.

For GCSE I worked on a project where I needed to do some research and planning, but as I didn't have access to the internet, I borrowed a book from the school library. There was little planning involved as I only had to put a PowerPoint together to present to the class, although I needed to plan my time as we were only given 5 minutes for each presentation.
