Double click anywhere & add an idea Then he said to me "Prophest to these bones and say to them " Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord." Behold the glory of the Lord stood there.. and I fell on my face. 3:23 Since he heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning, his blood will be on his own head. If he had taken warning, he would have saved himself. But if the watchmen sees the sword and does not blow the trumpet to warn his people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away by his own sin but I will hold the watchmen accountable for his blood. While that is an interesting simularity this passage is really a warning of Israel's fall! Ezekiel's early prophecies where of violence and destruction! Ezekiel's later statements addressed the hopes of the Iraelite who were in exile in Babylon.
