Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series
We are going to talk about this book today.
There are seven books in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, and two additional books: the Wimpy Kid Movie Diary.
The series started off online on Funbrain.com in 2004 and made its print debut in April of 2007. There are now more than 75 million copies of Diary of a Wimpy Kid books in print in 41 different languages.
The hysterically funny, best-selling book comes to life in this smash-hit family comedy! Greg Heffley is headed for big things, but first he has to survive the scariest, most humiliating experience of any kid’s life – middle school! That won’t be easy, considering he’s surrounded by hairy-freckled morons, wedgie-loving bullies and a moldy slice of cheese with nuclear cooties!

Greg Heffley, the kid who made “wimpy” cool, is back in this sidesplitting sequel based on the second installment of the best-selling book series! Having rid himself of the Cheese Touch , Greg enters the next grade with his confidence and friendships intact, and an eye on the new girl in town, Holly Hills . But at home, Greg is still at war with his older brother, Rodrick, so their parents have handed down the toughest “punishment” imaginable – forcing the boys to spend quality time with each other.
Everybody's favorite wimp, Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon), is back for three times the fun in the lastest film based on the super-popular book series! When Greg's dad (Steve Zahn) threatens to send him to military school if he didn't stay out of trouble, Greg finds all-new ways to land himself in the doghouse! For starters, Greg’s in over his head when he pretends to work at the swanky country club where Rowley’s family has a membership. Things don’t go much better on a father-son camping trip with the Wilderness Explorers, and then there’s the Heffley’s new dog, Sweetie, who fetches even more trouble for Greg in this hilarious family film!

--- How Greg Heffley went Hollywood
Gregory "Greg" Heffley is the main character , and also the main protagonist of the Diary Of a Wimpy Kid series.
Actor: Zachary Gordon
I will be famous one day, but for now, I'm stuck in the middle school with a bunch of morons.
Greg is an American student in this book. He is very concerned about his popularity level and how he looks in public.
Greg is usually depict with black shorts, or black pants and a white shirt. He is very skinny and does not seem to eat nor work out much. His nose is a simple oval while his ears are circled.
Actor: Robert Capron
Rowley, a second main character is Greg's best friend. Even sometimes Rowley looks much younger than Greg.
Greg used to do many ridiculous things, and the endings are always backfired.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid 7: the Third Wheel
A Valentine's Day dance at Greg's middle school has turned his world upside down. As Greg scrambles to find a date, he's worried he'll be left in the cold on the big night. His best friend, Rowley, doesn't have any prospects either, but that's a small consolation.
An unexpected twist gives Greg a partner for the dance and leaves Rowley the odd boy out. But the dance destroyed by a bunch of old seniors and the chicken pox. Rowley and Greg's dancing partner became a couple. After the dance, Greg got chicken pox, and have to stay at home for a while.
In the movie, Rowley is an overweight boy with long bowl shaped hair that is orange and is wider than Greg's.
The thing that most impressed me is Rowley is also the owner of the comic strip Zoo Wee Mama, which was originally Greg's idea, and they both worked on it. However, Greg gives up to start his own comic strip, and hands Zoo Wee Mama to Rowley, and it becomes a success.
Susan Heffley is Greg's mother. Though she tries to be loving, she sometimes seems dumb, embarrassing and overprotective. She and her husband pay far more attention to Manny than their other two sons, and give their youngest nearly everything he wants.
Actor :Rachael Harris
She is one of the main characters in the Diary of a wimpy kid series who is Greg's mom.
"Have a great day, sweetie pie!"
Actor: Steve Zahn
Franklin "Frank" Heffley is Greg's father. He is interested in U.S. history, especially the American Civil War, and he even makes a replica of an American Civil War battlefield.
Frank is a hard worker, and has a poor relationship with all of his sons, since the three cannot relate to each other at all in any way possible, and also cannot relate to Frank himself.
"Dag nab you rotten teenagers!"
Frank Heffley is one of the main characters in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.
Actor: Devon Bostick
Rodrick Heffley is Greg and Manny's older brother, the main antagonist of the second book and a minor bully to Greg and Manny throughout the series. He's a junior in high school.
Rodrick only good at a few things, like music. He spent most of his time on music instead of study.
He leads a drummer group called Löded Diper, a metal band.
Actor: Connor and Owen Fielding
Manny Heffley is Greg and Rodrick Heffley's younger brother, and is a minor antagonist in most of the series as well as the major antagonist for the second half .
Gary Heffley, is the uncle of Greg, Rodrick and Manny (from their father side).
He is an antagonist in the book The Third Wheel.
Rowley hooked Greg up with Abigail for the school's valentine's day dance, after hearing that her original date, Michael Sampson, had "family obligations" and can't go to the dance with Abigail.
Eugene Ellis is the president of student council as of The Third Wheel. His speech was that if he was elected as a president he will replace all the toilet papers with soft and quilted kind.
A minor character in The Third Wheel.
Ruby Bird is a girl from Greg's school who appeared in The Third Wheel. She is the only girl to have ever been suspended, for biting Mr. Underwood's arm so hard so her front tooth is lodged in it. Fregley has a huge crush on her. When Ruby Bird and Fregley got paired up they were acting affectionate.
The minor character in The Third Wheel.
Mad Pantser is an unseen character who appeared in The Third Wheel, he pantsed many kids including Vice Principal Roy, it's unknown who exactly is the Mad Pantser. He got most of his victims at the stairs in the gym, causing people to stay away from there.
To bother or annoy.

There are many series of books similar as the "Diary of Wimpy Kid". One of them is "Dork Diaries" series, also a kind of popular kids' read.
Greg's stories did not just happen in the book, sometimes they also happen in the real life. Someone have done something and try to make themselves have a good look, or to be cool. Unfortunately, they are just making things get worse.
I like this book pretty much and I think it is more inte
ng than other books of this series. The story was funny,
there's a big twist: Greg's BFF, Rowley Jefferson got a girlfriend, and the girl was Greg's dancing partner... I'
wondering how Greg going to be get through this whe
gets back to school.

Just like Greg, I've done something and try to make things look better, but they are just making me get more troubles.
There are bullies happening in some schools, just like some stories happened in this book. Some weaker or shorter kids always picked on.
: When I was young, I never end up anything like I imagined it should be, so I predict the things much worse than it supposes to be, so if I really end up the thing very terrible, I will not be so disappointed.
I think this book is full of humors. I fel
ry relax while I was reading this Series. And I
learned many children's language by readin

happening in that page, and it might help
have a good understanding.
Greg is the middle- child in his family.
Manny is the youngest kid of their family, the family members give him whatever he wants, and give him more love than what Greg and Rodrick get, those things make him cannot get along well with other children in his age. So his mother is trying to find him some friends.
Greg's uncle moved into their house.

The author wrote the book for kids to hav
n just like other comic books.
What I learned from this book is that, no matter
d of problem do you have, everything is going
in the end. Though, Greg did lots of funny
st and even "helped" his best friend to get in
ple, also, he got chicken pox. However, at least he cou
tay at home and enjoy his one week sick leave without
ne bothering him.
An antagonist who sold the T-shirt with typo to students in the Valentine's Dance.
