Magnet- is a body having the property of attracting ferromagnetic materials (such as steel and iron) and producing a magnetic field external to itself
Permanent magnets
remains magnetized even if there's no magnetic field
used for a wide variety of applications (starting with a refrigerator magnets and ending with electromechanical devices)
do not require any power source
environmentally friendly (natural)
