The positive and negative effects of coffee
There are two kinds of roasting: The Industrial roasting is when they roast the beans for 4 to 10 minutes. This is what chain cafes like Starbucks, and Dunkin' Donuts buy their coffee so they can get more coffee faster and for less money but the Traditional roasting is how good quality coffee is made. It takes about 20 minutes for traditional roasting to finish because when the beans are slowly made, the have richer flavors.

In coffee the main constituent is caffeine and it gives us energy. The scientific names are coffea arabica and coffea canephora. Coffee helps people digest food because it stimulates the secretion of stomach acid and juices of the pancreas, and it activates the intestine's contractions . It can help to prevent Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
It is usually not healthy to have more than 4 cups of coffee in one day on average. If one has to much one can get some negative effects like a faster heart rate, nervosity, anxiety, insomnia and other symptoms. 10% to 20% of people who drink coffee get headaches, and feel irritable and tired after they stop drinking it. Extreme overdose can result in death and can be used as a drug.
Coffee was discovered in 2000 B.C. in Katha, Ethiopia. Coffee was used for nocturnal religious rites to keep those involved awake. In Mecca and Medina, the beverage gained popularity very quickly, they even invented public coffee houses which is the ancestor cafes. These houses gained popularity and in 1554 the first of these houses in Christendom/ Europe was opened in Constantinople which is the nowadays Istanbul.
