What types of music
A device for playing or producing music.
What is music?
Music notes are the symbols written on the staff that express the pitch and duration of a sound.
A lot of kids liked this music 10-20 years ago.
Disco popular dance music (especially in the late 1970s).
people take disco and mix it with rap, like Wyclef jean.
Rock is a kind of music that you will usually use drums, keyboards, and electric guitars, rock singers sing very loud.
A lot of people like rap, and rap a lot. rap is a fast singing rhyming kind of music.
There are tonnes of different types of music! Dance, rap, hip hop, r&b, pop, country, jazz, easy listening, classical......... So many you could go on for days! but today we will find out about jazz, classical, disco, rock, and rap.

The instruments in this family all used to be made of wood which gives them their name. You play them by blowing air through the mouthpiece. You open or close the holes with your fingers to change the pitch. The oldest instrument in the woodwind family is the flute.

A brass instrument is a musical instrument. Whose tone is produced by the vibration of the lips as the player blows into the mouthpiece.
Some examples are:
Trombone, trumpet, french horn, and tuba.

Music is found in every known culture, past and present, varying wildly between times and place. Around 50,000 years ago, early modern humans began to leaving Africa, reaching all the continents.
Classical music is music produced in the western world between 1750 and 1820. This music includes opera, chamber music, choral pieces. Most people say classical music is serious music.
Music expresses how you feel. Music speaks what cannot be expressed.
