In the soccer category of an Olympic tournament this year, a Welsh player for the UK team - Ryan Giggs, alongside his fellows Bellamy and Allen did not sing the ‘God Save the Queen’ anthem (the UK national song) when it sounded, as the other members of the team did.

It is well know that citizens from Scotland and Wales do not feel themselves as British, so that is the reason why Giggs and the others did not show much passion when the anthem was played. DID YOU KNOW? BECAUSE OF SOME CONFLICTS BETWEEN ENGLAND AND WALES, SCOTLAND IN THE PAST-> TRY NOT TO CALL A PERSON FROM UK AN "ENGLISH MAN" IF YOU DON'T KNOW SURE WHERE HE'S FROM. 2 ENGLISH PLAYERS TACKLE A WELSH PLAYER DURING THE WOMAN 6 NATIONS GAME BETWEEN WALES & ENGLAND.
