UPESSAT - A study of Nano satellites
First test of the UPESSAT prototype (cube shaped as per regulations of Cubesat design) using a weather balloon and low altitude test conducted with success.
A team of 8 UPES students participated in SAE Efficycle-2012 competition recently. This team was among the top 65 colleges to be selected for the Main Event after competing against 140 colleges in the Virtual Round.
SAE Efficycle is an event to design and fabricate a 3-wheeled electric as well as human powered vehicle.
A joint team of UPES students and teachers stood first in Asia for the Best Practices and bagged the prestigious NASA Systems Engineering Award from amongst all the teams from all over the world.
