He is also one of the biggest-selling salsa artist of all time contemporary Salsa superstars in Latin America awards as two Billboard Awards, a Diplo Award (Puerto Rico) and a Grammy Award In the late 90's his English-language debut album was a HUGE hit
in that album: “I Need to Know,” became one of the US's Top 5 songs.
That track alone led him to gain a Latin Grammy Award for Song of the Year,
as well as a Record of The Year nomination.
