Transcript of The Big Dark

Charlie Cobb sets off on a journey to safe his moms life.
Charlie Cobb is a very brave boy. He set out a very dangerous journey. He is kind. He always stays clam.
Charlie Cobb's and his family all gather with hundreds of other people to watch the northern lights. All the sudden a huge flash of light flashed. No one knew what was going on. People went to there cars to go home ,but there cars wouldn't start. Nothing that required electricity would work. They thought the electricity would be back on by the next day but no.Weeks pasted then months nothing. People did not understand what was going on. Charlie's mom got really sick and was running out of medicine. She couldn't get more because no stores were opened they weren't making medicine any more without power.Charlie sets out of a journey in the freezing cold to find medicine for his mom. You will have to reed the book to find out what happens.
The time is in future.
I would recommend this book to anyone boy or girls 4th grade- 7th grade. You should read this book because it has a lot of adventure and courage.

Becca is super smart. She is a worrier; she always thinks of the worst thing possible. She is Charlie's younger sister by almost a year.
The place in New Hampshire. It is very cold and snowy.
I give this book 3 out of five stars.
I think the theme of this book is to not give up even when things get hard.
