history of snowflakes
the largest snowflakes were found in 1880 and one of them was 38 centimeters wide .in the other hand the other snowflake was 15 inches wide .each winter in the u.s at least one septmillion ice crystals/snowflakes fall from the sky .
that's 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. 24 zeroes .
Wilson Bentley captured more than 5,000 snowflakes and did not even find 2 equal snowflakes .

snowflakes are many crystals stuck together,and their are not frozen raindrops .Small snowflakes are called dust crystals .Snowflakes are not formed in the snow they are formed in the clouds .


There are NOT 2 equal snowflakes in the world !
snowflakes are organized by color, shape and size . there are 35 main categories of snowflakes .
