What is Bioinstrumentation ?
The Most Currently Used Equipment-Technologies:
The bioinstrumentation laboratory is specifically used for taking measurements in the health and biomedical science. Many equipment's and machines are used in this field such as:

1. Electrocardiography
(ECG)


2. Electroencephalogram
(EEG)
.

Electrocardiography (ECG)


An ECG machine is used to measure the electrical conduction of the heart.
The main purpose of ECG:

Electroencephalogram (EEG)
An electroencephalogram detects abnormalities in the brain waves or electrical activity of the brain. It is employed to record the oscillations of brain and its electronic potential records. The signals are recorded using electrodes attached to human scalp and this input is transferred to EEG system.

elective courses:
To detect heart problems, including a recent or ongoing heart attacks.

Also it is used to detect noncardiac conditions such as electrolyte imbalances and lung diseases.
In addition, it is used to monitor recovery from a heart attack, progressing of heart diseases, or the effectiveness of certain heart medications.

Finally, it is used to rule out hidden heart disease in patients about to undergo surgery.
