SYSTEM LEVEL PROBLEMS
Survey all 1) OS designs, 2) all design ideas in general and convert all to circular design methodology to create ultra-modular, multi-level, interoperability across entire OS domain
NOW
OUR VISION
ME-Centric / Selfish / Competitive
WE-Centric / Altruistic / Collaborative
DOMINANT LEGAL PARADIGM
DOMINANT PSYCHOLOGICAL WORLDVIEW
IP / Patents
Copyleft / Creative Common Variants
PRODUCTION PARADIGM
DESIGN PARADIGM
Linear / Silo
Circular / Industrial Symbiosis
Proprietary / Linear
Open Source / Circular
ECONOMIC PARADIGM
Capitalist / Unlimited Growth
Open Value System / Steady State / Circular
A fundamental psychological paradigm shift is required for rapid whole system change

We need to go from ME-centric thinking / feeling to WE-centric thinking / feeling
Invert "M" in Me to get the "W" in We
Our Challenge: Peak in 2020 and
rapidly drop all emissions thereafter
In order to decarbonize the planet at the required but unprecedented rate of 10% per annum and have a chance to remain under 2 Deg C limit, we need to undergo
rapid whole system change
.

MAJOR STRATEGIES

1. Multiple strategies for Multiple demographics. NOT one size fits all, different solution for different demographics

Whole System Change
Workshops
: Whole system education
Change strategy for the
top 1-5% consumers
: (Anderson 2013)
Open Source Circular Local Economy
(OSCLE) for many communities around the world
OSCLE for
Base-of-Pyramid
Global Commons
to distribute Open Source designs globally
Dashcott
PROSUMER Migration APP
Global
Tipping Point Festival
to expedite Social Tipping Point
Digital Collaborative Platform
based on biomimcry of Extracellular Matrix and cellular signaling for Massive Online Rapid Whole System Change (MORWSC)
Global convergence with all other commons-based rapid whole systems change groups

2. Rapid scaleout of Open Source Local Circular Economies (OSCLE) can solve two problems at the same time:

Rapid Emissions Reduction
Rapid Income Equalization

EXTRACELLULAR MATRIX IN BODY

1. Cells
2. Integrins signaling
2. Fibrous Structural Proteins - provide structure and stability for 3D shape
Collagen - 30 different types with 4 common types. Each made up of interlinked polypeptide changes linked by vitamin c enzyme. Gives tensile strength to matrix
Elastin - gives recoil
2. Water Hydrated Gels - make up interstitial matrix -
proteoglycans
hyaluronan
3. Focal Adhesion - Adhesive Glycoproteins to interconnect Matrix Elements - bonds and connect bodies to collagen and elastin or to integrins of epithelial cells

SRG DIGITAL GLOBAL COMMONS COLLABORATIVE PLATFORM STRATEGY

1. There are enough people and enough movements to bring about whole system change
2. What is lacking is
coordination
3. The commons needs an effective way to
unite and coordinate resources
in order to eliminate redundancy and wasteful silos
4. This platform will unite with other collaboration platforms and groups that are forming to
collectively and stigmergically form a super commons movement

Stop Reset Go IS NOT another change movement, but IS a laminin-protein type digital fabric to crowdsource, measure, gamify and scale socio-ecological solutions available for everyone on the planet to use.

We are exploring a biomimicrist approach to adapt the way that cells within the body coordinate via the EXTRACELLULAR MATRIX (ECM) to develop a digital platform for MASS COORDINATION OF GLOBAL CHANGE AGENTS having these specific properties:

Gamified interface to engage youth and generation X, Y, Z
Ecological footprinting (individual and aggregate)
Life Cycle Analysis (individual and aggregate)
Socio-economic footprinting
Open Value System
Global Commons instantiation: searchable index of all OSHW designs, Global Ecoshop for mutualization of designs and local education, marketing and establishment of manufacturing cooperatives, Open Source University to provide reputatable global body to drive adoption, coordination, establishment of global standards of OSHW & licensing of strategic technologies
Web interface with 1) Global system (WE) mode and 2) Local (ME) mode
Solution scaling functionality
Crowdfunding functionality
Human, material, land, equipment resource sharing functionality
Database convergence to form realime integrated data visualization of global socio-economic-ecological parameters
Data visualization of all earth system paremeters and planetary boundaries
Education resources for humanist education, economic education, community education via minimally invasive lifelong learning paradigm, applied education
Realtime totalization and trending of all local actions to bend the curve
Migration strategy from global production and supply chains to Open Source Circular Local Economy (OSCLE)
Synchronization with Tyndall Centres Rapid Emissions Reduction target as well as with safe planetary boundaries targets

ANALOGOUS EXTRACELLULAR STIGMERGIC DIGITAL COLLABORATION MATRIX
DETAILED LIST OF SRG WHOLE SYSTEM CHANGE OBJECTIVES

1. Develop rapidly scaleable
Open Source Local Circular Economy
(OSLCE) solution based on establishing a Global Commons Virtual Cloud.
2. OSLCE for
rapid uptake
at
Base-of-Pyramid
to solve socio-economic crisis while enabling sustainable, resilient social development at the same time
3. OSLCE for
rapid uptake
generally
around the planet
:
two different use cases:
new greenfield community hosing developments
retrofit existing communities
urban planning for:
community-scale industrial production eco-hub
community-scale eco-markets
4. Develop a global

Open Source Designer Cooperative
(OSDC) which mutualizes all designs
5. Develop a virtual
Open Source University
to support:
develop global commons digital infrastructure
develop digital collaborative platform
establish legal copyfair rights for design usage
license strategic patents to embed into designs as required
develop inter-operability standards for global OS community
develop alternative economic model:
steady-state economic model
reduced work hours week
migration strategy to go to zero production margin society - potentially eliminating the concept of "economic activity"
developing a strategy for a minimum guaranteed resource access (instead of basic income) and making it independent of "economic activity"
digital currency exchange system with zero interest
develop rapid migration strategy with:
scenario modeling to determine optimal combined top-down / bottom-up approaches
Dashcott app for driving prosumers to alternative OSCLEs worldwide
Humanity has an unchangeable deadline - peak year in 2020 (Anderson 2013). SRG is developing a commons-based plan pegged to this unmovable deadline.
ROLE OF CIRCULAR ECONOMIES

CIRCULAR ECONOMY (CE) vs OPEN SOURCE CIRCULAR LOCAL ECONOMY (OSCLE)

Circularizing the existing global capital and production chain is necessary BUT
it will potentially solve only solve ONE of the TWO major problems facing humanity....the ecological crisis.

To solve the SOCIAL EQUITY CRISIS, we need OPEN SOURCE CIRCULAR LOCAL ECONOMIES
RAPID WHOLE SYSTEM CHANGE
6. Develop a
Social Tipping Point strategy
:
Global Tipping Point Festival: first one in 2016 to educate on requirements to achieve tipping point for rapid whole system change
Education on OSCLE
Disseminaton of SRG activity for rapid whole system change
Unveil whole system change digital collaboration platform
7. Develop Global Ecoshop, a
cooperative franchise
to rapidly:
educate the commons on:
humanist education
paradigm:
the long view: the anthropological story of how we arrived here
progress traps
The current and old ME paradigm vs the new WE paradigm
new
OSLCE model
;
the virtual global commons
local manufacturing & production
economic education
:
how to create community prosperity dependent only on community resources
steady-state economy
current money paradigm
community-level alternative digital currency paradigm
general education
:
Hierachical Idea Networks (HIN) for resilient, lifelong, minimally invasive learning
Applied education - connect curiculum to holistic community infrastructure and OSCLE
production education
:
HIPS
market
new technologies, systems and OSLCE model;
perform
community assessments
for developing holistic community models ready for OSLCE
develop manufacturing cooperatives
within communities to lay groundwork for OSLCE
sell
into
middle income
retail markets to raise money
Currently, our socio-economic production systems concentrate wealth to the top, creating vast inequality by concentrating Intellectual Property.
It pollutes and plunders the commons of resources to do this.
By developing the Global Commons, we can create designs that anyone can use.

Designers upload to the Global Commons
local communities can download the designs to manufacture their designs locally

BENEFITS:

This puts knowledge into the commons redistributes wealth to local producers
Because local economies are Open Source Local Circular Economies (OSLCE), it neither pollutes NOR plunders the commons.
It reverses current ecological trends by shrinking the human-appropriated nature and expanding wild nature.
HOW RAPID?
TOP DOWN vs. BOTTOM UP
WHOLE SYSTEM CHANGE

There are two whole system change movements rapidly taking place in the world today:

1) Plan A - Top Down - UN / Big Biz - the 1%
2) Plan B - Bottom Up - the Commons - the 99%

Plan B is required because Plan A will likely fall far short of REAL scientific targets
Lack of dialogue between Plan A people and Plan B people is worrying but Plan B is already taking place stigmergically within the commons
We have to decarbonize at 10% per annum until we reach 0 emissions.
To put this in perspective, when the Russian economy collapsed in early 1990s, it decarbonized at a rate of 5% per annum
We have to have aggressive renewable energy scaleout starting now, but It's too early for renewable energy to replace two centuries worth of fossil fuel energy infrastructure. This needs to be done on scale of decades.
In the short term, reducing demand side significantly is our only viable option
