Terrorism : is the systematic use of terror, often violent, especially as a means of coercion. The Boston Marathon bombing
April 15,2013 Brothers Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, were the two suspects linked to the bombing.

After the bombing they committed other crimes and had a shoot out with police.

Tamerlan was killed and Dzhokhar was injured and escaped.

On April 19 the city was shut down and a man hunt began.

On April 22 Dzhokhar was found and was charged. When interrogated Dzhokar says they were motivated by extremist Islamist beliefs and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

They weren't connected to any outside terrorist groups.

They learned how to build explosive devices online.

They also planned to travel to New York to bomb Time Square. http://www.policymic.com/articles/37705/8-ways-the-boston-bombing-changed-america-forever The day of the Boston Marathon two pressure cooker bombs went off at 2:49 p.m.
