How to get rid of a vampire:
By: Chase, Sydney, Brian, and Jenna
"The whole place was thick with dust. The floor was seemingly inches deep, except where there was recent footsteps, in which on holding down my lamp I could see marks of hobnails where the dust was cracked. The walls were fluffy and heavy with dust and in the corners were masses of spider's webs, whereon the dust had gathered till they looked like old tattered rags as the weight had torn them partly down." Pg 251
If there is Dust everywhere
If it's dark and suddenly is infested with vermin.
"We all followed his movements with our eyes, for undoubtedly some nervousness was growing on us, and he saw a whole mass of phosphorescence, which twinkled like stars. We all instinctive drew back. The whole place was becoming alive with rats...But even in the minute that had elapsed the number of the rats had vastly increased. They seems to swarm over the place all at once, till the lamplight, shining on their moving dark bodies all glittering, baleful eyes, made the place look like a bank of earth set with fireflies." Pg 253
If animals act strange around you
"Then a dog began to howl somewhere in a farmhouse far down the road a long, agonized wailing, as if from fear. The sound was taken up by another dog, and then another and another, till, borne on the wind..." Pg 11
If you have a sudden bad feeling
"I am in a sea of wonders. I doubt; I fear; I think strange things, which I dare not contest to my own soul. God keep me, if only for the sake of those dear to me!" pg 19
If they move in an inhuman way
"But my very feelings changed to repulsion and terror when I saw the whole man slowly emerge from the window, and begin to crawl down the castle wall over that dreadful abyss, face down, with his cloak spreading out around him like great wings." Pg 35
If the weather suddenly changes
"For it soon became apparent to all that the
would not sail as we expected. A thin mist began to creep up from the river, and it grew, and grew; till soon a dense fog enveloped the ship and all around her... The water rose and rose; and he begun to fear that he would lose the tide all together...For soon the the fog begin to melt away, and all was clear again." Pg 319

Do not invite strangers into your house.
