EDSI has a job development team fully devoted to assist in the job hunt process. We have a roster of positions available and are adding to the list daily providing opportunities for valuable work experience.
An "internship" is an opportunity offered by an employer to potential employees, to work at a firm for a fixed, limited period of time. Interns are usually undergraduates or students, and most internships last for any length of time between one week and 12 months.
The B2B (Backpacks to Briefcases) program provides an opportunity for students to identify a career of interest, and to combine a sequence of career and educational curriculum with real life opportunities supervised by an internship facilitator. Participants interested in interning at a particular site will first seek advice of their internship facilitator or guidance counselor and then make the proper accommodations to join the particular organization.
EDSI provides the training to empower you in your job search. Workshops focus and instill skills on resume writing, interview skills, communication training, cover letter construction, and effective job search techniques.
