Wind: tornadoes, hurricanes

Precipitation: drought, flood, blizzards, rain storms, lightening, heavy fogs Changes Occurring - 30% increase in precipitation is predicted
by the end of the 21st century

- By 2050 there will be an increase in annual precipitation of 55mm in Peterborough

- Sea ice melting; critical for traveling between communities during the winter and hunting

- Summer warming; new insects & diseases
