Management Style William Jefferson Clinton is best known for being the fourty second President of the United States. Clinton had the U.S. in more peace and economic well being than any other time in our history. He also put in place the lowest unemployment rate in modern times, the highest home ownership in the country’s history, and reduced welfare rolls. Clinton also put into place the first balanced budget in decades and achieved a budget surplus. Mr. Clinton is a democratic leader who relied on his presidential cabinet to help him with decision making. Due to the checks and balances of the United States government Mr. Clinton was able to run the country with the help of the United States legislation and judiciary systems. An example of his leadership is when Clinton was proposing his health care reform and it later failed. After this failure Clinton pursued a more progressive domestic agenda that would help change certain aspects of the United States health care system, as in the welfare was reformed, and environmental regulations were strengthened. Communication Skills Clinton had graduated From Georgetown University, and later received a law degree from Yale University. Being so well educated and having such an involved political background made it easy for Clinton to speak with others. During Clinton’s Presidency he relied on his cabinet to help him make his decisions but he did not let his cabinet rule him. Bill Clinton entered office with an agenda but like all great men he was open to suggestions and constructive criticism.
