Effectiveness of Google Search
Founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin
Started as a research project between Sergey Brin and Larry Page, two Stanford University Ph.D students
They thought that a search engine that analyzed the relationship between websites would find better results than existing search engines
Existing search engines simply listed web pages in order of how many times that particular page used the keyword that was searched
Their search engine was called “BackRub”
