Between The Lines
By Jodi Picoult & Samatha Van Leer. The 2 main characters in this book are Delilah McPhee and Oliver. Others are frump, King Maurice. Serphmima, Socks, Jules, Delilah's mom, And Queen Mareen. Characters! Delilah McPhee a regular teenage girl who loves to read finds herself reading a children's book at 15 years old. But this isn't any ordinary book, she soon finds that her favorite book is actually real. That's were Oliver comes in. He was sitting on the beach like any normal day, when the book wasn't open. Playing checkers with his dog frump and, little did he know, that on the same day he would finally meet Delilah Mcphee. Oliver won't stop fighting for her until he gets his happily ever after. Summary I would rate this book an 8 out of 10 because it was a very interesting read. However the beginning was very confusing. This book would be good for ages of 12+ because it has some very descriptive language, some of the topics were for older kids. Rating Jodi Picoult is 44 years old and her daughter who co-wrote the book Samantha Van Leer, she started writing when she was in high school. At that point, she realized she loved it after high school she wrote for the NYT, and she wrote a couple of stories in seventeen magazine. Also she went to Harvard to pursue a masters education in writing. About The Author. THE END!!! This book has two different perspectives, Delilah, and Oliver. I really liked this idea because it was helpful to know what their take on the situation is and why. Also it had one that explained what happened in the children's book in every couple of chapters. Other Facts I love Taylor soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomuch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
