AREA PERIMETER To find the perimeter To find the area of a square or rectangle, you have to multiply 2 sides together to find it. 10 x 4 = 40 c.m. 2 2 To find the area of a triangle you multiply base x height and then divide by 2. 10 c.m. 10 c.m. 5 c.m A= 25 c.m. 2 12 x 5= 60 c.m. 60/2= 30 c.m. To find the perimeter of a object you have to add all of the sides together. Example P= 30 c.m. 5 c.m. 10 c.m. 5 c.m. 10 c.m. 10+10+5+5=30 c.m. AND THAT IS HOW YOU DO AREA AND PERIMETER !! THE END!! 8 c.m. 8 c.m. 4 c.m. A= 20 c.m. 10x4=40/2=20 c.m. 2 2 Example 3 c.m. 3 c.m. 6 c.m. 6 c.m. P= 18 c.m. 6+6=12+3+3=18 c.m. Example Example By Daniel and Riley!!
