St. Paul Scavenger Hunt Damascus Antioch (In Syria) Ephesus Macedonia Philippi Corinth You've found the Statue! Paul's first letter is Galatians. It was written in 49 AD. He wrote it to the people in Galatia. Paul wrote this letter to build up the Church in Galatia. This is the place where we were first called "Christians". St. Paul wrote 1st Corinthians in 56 AD. He wrote this letter to people in Corinth, which back then was like Las Vegas. Paul wrote this letter to correct sinful practices and false doctrines. Paul wrote the letter 1st Timothy to his friend Timothy. He wrote about false teachers of the law. You've found the statue deep in the Mediterranean Sea, where St. Paul made most of his journeys. Paul had his conversion here. His name was originally Saul and he was a Jew. Saul persecuted Christians. He was on his way to Damascus and he saw a bright light. Saul heard a voice saying "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?". Saul turned blind and was taken to Ananias. Ananias healed him and Saul could see again. Saul converted and changed his name to Paul. St. Paul wrote most of his letters in Corinth. These letters include 1 and 2 Thessalonians, Romans, and Titus. Paul wrote Romans to settle the differences in viewpoint between Jewish and Gentile Christians. St. Paul wrote to the Philippians in 62 AD from a prison in Rome. He wrote to them to encourage the Philippian Christians. Go to the place where Paul's Christian journey started. If you think it is Damascus go to the right.
