ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE BY MAX BEVIS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE PAST In The Past There Have Been Many AI'S, but one of the Most notable ones was named "Deep Blue". Deep Blue was made by IBM, and Managed to defeat chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE NOW Whilst not technical artificial intelligences , the XBOX 360's Kinect software and the Iphones Siri, are both based off complex coding common in most Artificial Intelligences. Also, the online program CleverBot, is a Ai that learns from its experiences and puts it into intelligent conversations! Artificial intelligence in the media In Movies and video games, AI have been portrayed as sentient, complex beings, capable of being in control of scientific facilities (GLaDOS, Portal)
in charge of spacecraft (HAL 9000, 2001: A space odyssey) and an extremely intelligent combat aware advisor (Cortana, Halo) How Could AI Help Us In conclusion.. Ai are already part of many peoples life, but gradually they will come into more aspects of it . S P A A A C E ! HAL 9000 GLaDOS Cortana THANK YOU! AI could be used to make complex decisions in tough situations such as precision Operations, Bomb disposal, medical advise etc... Ai could even take over aspects of every day life like news, and other media.
