exercises Assures Rapid Rehydration bibliography Summary in 1965 Medical researcher Robert Cade invented Gatorade to slow down heart rate after the strenuous workouts at Florida University Who Founded Gatorade 6% of carbohydrate and salt is crucial for rapid fluid absorption When the carbohydrate level gets higher than 7% absorpition is slowed which can make sports drinks bad for your body According to Gatorade, the sodium in their drink helps maintain body fluids unlike other fluids such as water and caffeinated beverages.
