Dragon Tower (Long Ta tower) 1 2 3 4 What is the name of the Tower? Where is it? Presentation Objectives Reason for Use? Design Considerations The Long Ta Tower has become a landmark of Harbin and Heilongjiang Province, China. It was originally made for telecommunication in 2000, but with over five floors of amazement, it became a huge tourist attraction. When was the tower built? Height & Shape It is a massive multifunctional tower that integrates transmission of broadcast and TV, tourism, sightseeing, food and beverage service, advertisement propagation, environmental and meteorological monitoring, microwave telecommunication and wireless communication together. The total building area of the Long Ta Tower is 16,600 square meters. The tower base consists of the underground floor and the first four floors above ground. The base is made into a sphere. The tower body is built into an octagon. There is a ball shaped dome at the top. The antenna is installed at an elevation of 220.5m I could not find sufficient information about the Dragon Tower, therefore i was not able to finish the last question with much detail...
