Intro to Meteors
Intro to black holes
Black holes are not your regular holes in the ground.
Black holes are 10,000,000 billion times bigger.
They suck in things with such speed that even light the fastest known thing to us can not escape a black hole.
Did you know, that there is a black hole in the milky way (are galaxy)
that is 300 million times bigger than the sun?
Blackholes are invisible and we know of them because of the surroundings.
There are millions of blackholes just in the Milky Way.
Intro to asteroids
Asteroids are small planets that orbits outer space. The big ones can be dangerous to earth but the small ones cant get through the atmosphere and it is not dangerous.
Intro to comets
Comets are made of gas or dust they are compared to dirty snowballs. Some people think that they might have brought some of the life and water that now makes up life on earth.
Comets orbit the sun but our known mainly to be in a place called the Oort cloud far beyond Pluto. But rarely they come into the inner solar system. The famous comet (Halley's comet) will be seen again in 2062.
Meteors can be in lots of different size and some meteoroids are huge as a house and some are small as golf balls. One maybe big enough to have its own moon. They are often magnetic. Some can have crystals.
Black holes 2
Black holes are the last stage of life of a dying star.
Albert Einstein first predicted black holes in 1916. If a dying star which has 3 times the amount of matter that the sun has, it becomes a black hole.
Black holes have 3 layers.
The outer and inner ,event horizons and singularity.
The first black holes think they have discovered is the Cygnus X-1.
