The life and experiences of Jimi Hendrix "when the power of love over comes the love of power the world will be at peace" Born November 27, 1942 died september 18 1970 "I've been imitated so well
I've heard people copy my mistakes" "Knowledge speaks but wisdom listens" "music is my religion" Johnny Allen Hendrix was born Novembere 27, 1942 he was an American citizen of Seattle, Washington, he died September 18, 1970 in Kensington, Greater London, England. His life was music, he was frequently refered to as the greatest and most influential musician of his era. He was a very prestigeous rock musician who was loved in various countries around the world. His inspiration was blues artists such as B.B King, Muddy Waters etc. Jimi beleived that raice shouldnt matter, he understood that we are all people, skin colour doesnt decide the rights we have, him being an African American not every came easy to him. Hendrix frequently got into trouble with the law in two serious cases he stole cars. He was given the choice between time in prison or enlisting in the army. He later enlisted in the army May 31, 1969. After being discharged from the army he formed the Jimi Hendrix experience. The band toured countless countries, cities, states. Jimi himself won countless awards and recieved some flattering honors, he was inducted into both the American and UK rock and roll and hall of fame .However in the summer the experience performed their last show. Jimi had a very hard time with a drug addiction. He was known to be a user of a very addictive and life altering drug formally known as leysergic acid diethylamide LSD for short. Doing drugs seems to be the norm for rock stars who beleive that they are invincible to the affects of them. The fact of how inevitable it was that the addiction would eventually catch up to him was the very thing that teriffied fans and family of Jimi. It was almost as Inevitable as the sun rising, on September 18, 1970 tradgedy struck the hearts of fans family and everyone who knew him, Jimi Hendrix dead at the age of 27. The cause of his death is still unknown to this day, but his constant use of LSD definately didnt help him. In conclusion Jimi Hendrix was and always will be one the most influential musicians of all time, he wasnt just a musician, I guess you could call him a humanitarian , he always saw the good in people, He is forever loved, Rest in peace, Jimi Hendrix. Rest in Peace
In our hearts forever. - He didn't do it for the fame or the fortune. He did it because he loved music as much as he loved life. We will love you forever Jimi Acomplishing his dream of being a musician was all he wanted He was as cool as ice what if he didnt beleive in himself? Whats not to love about him? Thats all folks
