Transcript of Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet
In the street of Verona, there were two enemy families: The Montagues and the Capulets
Montagues
Capulets
Romeo, a Montague has fallen inlove with Juliet, a Capulet. She finds out who Romeo is and laments the fact that she is inlove with her enemy.
Paris and Juliet
Romeo and Juliet
She wishes that Romeo could shed her name and marry her. But, Juliet is obligated to marry Paris, a kinsman of the Prince.
She made an agreement with Friar Laurence, her confidant so that Paris could not marry her. So, Friar Laurence gave a potion that will make her seem dead for two days.
The next morning, the day Paris is supposed to marry Juliet, her nurse finds her dead in bed. Romeo's servant hurried and told Romeo that Juliet is dead and buried. Romeo hurried back to Verona. Seeing Juliet dead in the tomb, Romeo drank some poison he bought and dies kissing her.
Dead
Friar Laurance arrives just as Juliet wakes up. He tries to get her come out, but when she sees Romeo beside her, Juliet takes her dagger and kills herself.
Dead
The rest of the town arrive, including the Capulets and Montagues. Friar Laurence tells them the whole story. The two family agreed to become friends. Each family erects a golden statue of other's child.
