Transcript of Belly Dancers help to rescue horses

Belly dancers help to save horses on april 18th, 2010, some laides from
nw arkansas community college got
together to belly dance. They belly danced to raise money to help sick, abused, neglected, unwanted horses and other animals like parrots, snakes and lizards. "Horses are so cheap right now" says
Maureen scurzo, owner of tiny timbers horse rescue. "People can purchase a horse for as little as 25 dollars, then the horse grows up and the owner doesn't know what to do with it, so they give the horse to us." So they belly dancers are raising
money to donate to the tiny timbers
horse rescue. My connection to this current event
is that when i was in preschool, i used to belly dance... we didn't raise any money, but it was a lot of fun.
thank you for watching
my current event!!! and here is a map of arkansas
