Another one of his quests was when he was told to bring back a underwater plant in order to obtain immortality but a serpent rose up and took it. Desire for immortality Aang did not wish for immortality. Although his reputation as a Avatar will never be forgotten because he brought peace to all nations after he triumphed over the fire lord. Desire for immortality Gilgamesh desired to live forever and wasn't really trying to obtain spiritual immortality but rather physical immortality. Gilgamesh had fought humbaba who was undefeated and supposedly who ever defeated him would be immortal. Ofcourse this did not happen so Gilgamesh kept on trying to obtain immortality but in the end he obtained spiritual immortality when he wrote his story on a tablet. Special friend or sidekick Aang had many friends but the ones closest to him were Katara, Sokka, Momo, Appa, and Toph. Special friend or sidekick Enkidu is a sidekick of Gilgamesh. Enkidu was placed beside Gilgamesh to keep him from overpowering and to assist him in his adventures. Archenemy or villain Aang's archenemy is Ozai, who is the leader of the fire nation and wiped out the entire air nation. He tried to conquer all the nations but Aang was there to stop him. He feared death so much that he went to great lengths in order to avoid it, ironically losing it all in the end to a serpent. Exhibiting of bravery, courage and/or superhuman strength.
