Describe my career and job duties
I'm from a small country town called Rosharon. All i did as a kid was play outside and work with my hands. That's why I chose welding because its always been interesting to me and I love working with my hands.
Welding is the process of fabricating materials together usually using metal. Job duties include the layout, fitting, and fabrication of components to assemble vessels.
Knowledge and skills
The knowledge and skills require you to know basic welding procedures such as grinding, soldering and cutting.
The salary range varies depending on the company and your experience level. Entry level pays around $40,000 -$50,000 a year. Experts make between $50,000 - $100,000.
The welding industry is expected to grow anywhere between 6 and %12
Advantages and disadvantages
This job allows you to make really god money really quickly, its easy as long as you practice, benifits are great, and you get to travel the country. Disadvantages are its dangerous, the hours are long and there is a chance of blindness.

I love having a job i can work at my own pace and make a lot of money in the process. I will have a custom welding business making things for households and backyards. My advice is to show up to class and pay attention. Use everything you learn!
