Galileo Galilei
Galileo's Birth
Galileo was born in Pisa, Italy. One of their most famous landmarks is the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Galileo's Education
Galileo was actually a monk at first. When his father showed displeasureof the subject, he went to go off to the university of Pisa and studided medicine, like his father wanted. He almost flunked out of the university in mathematics. When he got his tutor, that all changed for the best.
Galileo's Inventions
Galileo created the modern telescope and discovered many things. A few of these are discovering the craters of the moon, discovered sunspots, Saturn's rings, the phases of Mercury, and discovering the moons of Jupiter.
Galileo's Inventions contin.....
Galileo also experimented with Aristotle's theory of larger objects going to the ground faster than smaller objects. He proved Aristotle wrong by testing balls of various sizes going down on inclined ramps. He then discovered the balls fell at the exact same speed onto the ground.
He was born on Febuary 15, 1564.
He died on January 8th, 1642.

How His Inventions Help Us
Galileo's inventions help us so much in modern math and science. His telescopes led to a revolution in it's franchise, sunspots can help us learn about our sun and when it will go out, and we have knowledge about the world we live in.
Why I Chose Galileo
I chose Galileo to do my project on for a few reasons. The first reason why I chose him was about his discoveries. I find them all very interesting. The second reason I chose him is becuse I like Space as well.
What I Learned
I learned alot about Galileo in this project. Like, how he didn't make the telescope, just remade it. also how he discovered sunspots, moon craters, the phases of Mercury, the moons of Jupiter, and how he proved Aristotle wrong.
