Alexander Graham Bell Timeline
Bell is born
Alexander Graham Bell was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on March 3rd 1847.
Alexander Gets his Middle Name
Alexander Graham Bell did not get his middle name "Graham" until he was twelve. He got it for his birthday because he wanted a middle name like him brothers.
Bell's First Job
Bell got his first job when he was 16 as a teacher for the deaf.
Bell Immigrates
Bell immigrated to Canada in 1870. Both of his brothers died of tuberculosis, and his parents thought that it would be a good idea to move.
School for Deaf Mutes
In 1871, Bell founded an institute in Boston for deaf mutes.
Becomes a Citizen
Alexander Graham Bell, official becomes a citizen in 1882.
Bell Gets Married
On July 11, 1877 Bell marries Mabel Hubbard
They have four children

His fathers name was Alexander Melville Bell and his mothers name was Eliza Grace Symonds.

Bell invents the Telephone
On March 7, Bell got the patent for the Telephone
Three days later he said the first message on the telephone " Mr. Watson come here, I want to see you."
Bell Invents the Vaccum Jacket
Bell's invention of the Vaccum Jacket was the forerunner of the iron lung.

Alexander Grahmam Bell dies on August second 1922
He is buried in Nova Scotia, Canada.
