Cinderella's (The Stepmother's) House is confining meaning the house is like a cage keeping Cinderella a slave in her own home.
The Prince's Castle relieves Cinderella of her prison which she enjoys her night of freedom by dancing and falling in love with the Prince. Characters Cinderella Protagonist Static Direct: Beautiful, good, pious - "...she remained pious and good."
"...she looked so beautiful in the golden dress" Indirect: Obedient - Cinderella obeyed her Stepmother and Step Sisters by doing what they wished
