Realm of MBEMers
BEM at SPA focuses on grooming efficient and skilled professionals who can accomplish complex building projects by coordinating with multifarious specialized consultants, right from concept formation, through to design development and construction stages.
The course curriculum integrates the engineering aspects and management practices of building projects.
The students of MBEM SPA Delhi are selected from all over the country. The batch comprises of architects and engineers.
The students are selected on the basis of their GATE Ranks, Academic Profiles, Personal Interview, and the quality of their previous work experiences and achievements.

Our Alumni Speak
The School of Planning and Architecture had a modest beginning in 1941 as a Department of Architecture of Delhi Polytechnic.
It was later affiliated to the University of Delhi and integrated with the School of Town and Country Planning which was established in 1955 by the Government of India to provide facilities for rural, urban and regional planning.
On integration, the School was re-named as School of Planning and Architecture in 1959.

The Department of BEM was founded in August 1979 by Prof. S.K. Narayana.
In April 1968, a study was carried out to identify the statistical distribution of professionals in the AEC Industry.
With various other studies and meetings, in October 1977 a short term course on Construction Management was conducted, which resulted in the formation of this course at Master's level.
