What are Plains Indians?

Well the Plains indians are the first Native Americans in North America and Canada which included many tribes!
( you will learn about the tribes in the who section)

They were nomadic, as they rode around on horseback.

They also hunted bufflo as a group.
They banded together to make importand decisions.

The Plain indians had to run away from the white man. ( the white man is the white people)
In order to survive ,the plains indians hunted buffalo as their main source of food.
Each person had to do a gender role like women had to tend crops
.

The people of the great Plains have been found the tallest people in the world in the 19th century.

The first group became a horse culture in the 19th and 18th century following the buffalo.

Plains Indians were the first band government.
Plains Tribes
: Blackfoot, Arapoha, Assinibonie, Cheyenne, Comanche, Crow, Gros Venter, Kiown, Pawnee
.

Plain indians are the Native American tribes and first Nation band governments who traditionally lived on the Great Plains and canadian prairies in North America.
They traditionally lived on the Great Plains and Canadian Praries in North America.
They also lived in small villages.
