Poetic Devices Personification: Assonance: Metaphor: Adele ''Someone like you'' The time flies- time doesn't fly but i believe that Adele meant that you don't know how much time you got til it's gone. Adele says ''stay away'' in a continuous form making those words vowel repetition.
