Women in Sport.
Year 10 Assessment. Ellyse Perry. Ellyse Alexandra Perry was born on the 3rd of November, 1990 in Wahroonga, New South Wales. Ellyse plays in two of the main male dominated sports, Soccer and Cricket. She is a fast-bowler in Cricket and Fullback in Soccer. She stared on the international scale at the age of 16. She played her first cricket international in July 2007 before earning her first football cap for Australia a month later. Perry is the youngest person, male or female, to represent Australia in cricket and the first Australian woman to have appeared in both cricket and association football World Cups. Here are some photos. The media coverage of women sports is inconsistent. The main time you see womens sport is when the Olympics are on. Most of the time Male sports are shown. When you do see womens sports it is to use that time period on television so that it is not wasted on repeats. Hope you enjoyed. Prezi presented by BLAKE LAIDLAW.
