These people then made small regions together Where is Kyrgyzstan located Kyrgyzstan is located in Central Asia and East of Uzbekistan and south of Kazakhstan The main religion in Kyrgyzstan: Islam Islam is a religion that has only one god and in Islam that god is Allah. Later on Islam missionaries came to Kyrgyzstan and made it the main religion that still exists as the top religion in Kyrgyzstan today. China then came to Kyrgyzstan and ruled for around 558 years. Then Russians came to Kyrgyzstan in the 1800's and ruled them horribly. Then after a failed revolt by the communists in 1991, Kyrgyzstan declared it's independence during the confusion. Kyrgyzstan then became a democracy and has had many political argument ever since then with only 3 presidents so far. Russian occupation Political argument Climate The climate in Kyrgyzstan varies and it really depends where you are... The Southwest has a subtropical climate The northern part has temperate climate the higher areas have a dry continental climate of polar climate What Physical Features does it have? He was believed to be Allah's last prophet and he did many things Islam in Kyrgyzstan is from the Sunni branch rather than the Shia branch. The Sunni Arab's believed in Muhammad's father in law as their next leader where as the Shia Musslims believed in Mudhammad's son in law as the next leader Sunni Arabs in prayer Muhammad Religious festivals in kyrgyzstan Russsian Orthodox Easter Thank you for listening! Kurman-Ait The Russian Orthodox Easter festival is celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ and is celebrated on the second of April.Close to our Easter date but not quite our easter like our Christmases.( Their Christmas is on January 2) They normally celebrate by baking a type of bread called "Kulich" It is a festival to celebrate the end of Ramadan. It is normally celebrated with a huge feast with friends and families and other people. Official lanuage of Kyrgyzstan is the lanuguage of Kyrgyz Dress Modern dress People who live in villages normally still like to wear traditional cloths. People that live in cities normally like the dress in western cloths. (pants and t-shirt) Though shorts are almost never worn unless you are a tourist. They almost never wear super causual. Though for a fancy dinner you might see people in a jumpsuit. Tradtional dress Boys The Tranditional clothing for the kygyz in general are called Yurts. The males normally wear a course shirt with wide trousers This is normaly worn witha hat made of fine leather felt and boots made with strechy souls withoust and heels. Tradtional Cloths Female They wear a long a wide shirt that can we used as a dress or a long tshirt with trousers underneath. Kygyzstan flag Places to go in Kyrgyzstan Lake Issyk-kol Is an unfreezable lake that is about 170 km long and 70 km. wide Abr Archa One of the most visited places in krgyzstan and is a natural reserve Stone garden Is a museum in the open air which has stone circles, walls, art, etc. Kattama Unleavand bread in thin layer of butter and grease Creates layer and keeps putting on layers until ready to bake Cooked in a hot iron stove until ready Shorpa A soup made with vegetables and meats of difffernt assortments Besh barmark Is Kygyzstan's national food and has horse meat and noodles with parsley in a type of broth. It is usually served with a boild sheep head for the guest of honor. Currency Kyrgyzstan money is called Som. There are some rare Som too. It has values similar to that of thailands money but has a 200 Som bill and a few coin differences Here is a video. Sorry there were not better videos.
