Nitrogen collects in precipitation then falls to earth as rain, snow, sleet, or hail.
The Nitrogen Cycle
Precipitation
Nitrogen Fixation
The nitrogen crosses with a bacteria to from amonia

Amonia makes the nitrogen usable
Nitrogen Fixing Bacteria
Another bacteria attaches to the ammonia
After it attaches it becomes a compound for plants to use it
Another bacteria takes the oxygen from the nitrogen cell
the left over nitrogen returns to the atmosphere
Denitrifying Bacteria
Decaying animals and waste
Animals eat protiens and when they die the nitrogen from the protiens decay into the ground.
Nitrogen collects in precipitation then falls to earth.
