Shang religion
time periods
In the Shang dynasty, they worshiped many gods. The Shang religion was a mixture of two beliefs -
animism and veneration of ancestors.
The Shang dynasty lasted from 1600 BC to 1046 BC
The Han dynasty lasted from 206 BC to 220 AD
The Qin dynasty lasted from 221 BC to 206 BC
The Qin Dynasty's religion is known as the Shen. Their religion is based on believing in spirits. Their religious practices were held in shrines and they had a spirit leader during rituals.
Han religion
The religion of the Han dynasty
was mostly Taoism. Taoism is the belief
of opposites such as there can be no love
without hate.
