Location
Costa Rica is a nation in Latin America, located in the isthmus of central America.
costa rica is situated just north of the equator, creating a tropical climate and, rich biodiversity.
Largest wetland in central America
The runoff from the plain and rain forests of costa rica feeds impressive rivers, creating swamps and marshes which support the life of many birds.
These swamps and marshes are also one of the best places for travelers to see other wild life.
Introduction
In Costa Rica the visitor can enjoy lovely tropical beaches, the grandest adventures, the wonders of nature, enchanting culture, all the necessary components of an ideal vacation.
In 2012 it was nominated the happiest city in the world.
Capital city: San Jose
The nations largest city
San Jose is the seat of the national government, the focal point of polical and economic activity.
The major transportation hub of this central american nation.
Guanacaste-North Pacific.
The Oldest territory in costa rica.
Before the Spanish invasion, the Guanacaste region was populated by many indigenous peoples, most notably the Chorotega people which still can be seen along the region.
North Plains
With its several protected areas, lakes, lagoons, volcanoes, rivers and waterfalls, the Northern Zone is undergoing a boom in tourism service and adventure site development.
the Northern Zone features wet and evergreen forests as well as fertile plain.
Conclusion
Gold museums, natural parks, hot springs & volcanoes.
The gold museum is located in a subterranean building underneath the plaza de la cultura.
A lot of rain forest trekking, aerial, canopy tours.
