Choices: Mid-year SBAC Assessment
Interim Assessment Blocks
(Unclear as to the number of) Short, focused sets of items that measure several assessment targets.
Preparing
Administering
Unclear as to amount of time per block for non-performace tasks.

2 1/2 hours as performance tasks are the same as in the summative.

Does not use the same delivery system as the interim and summative assessments.

Training test
30-45 minutes with only 15 items.

Practice test
45-60 minutes per content area with 30 items.
2 1/2 hours per content area for Performance Task

Training Test
Allow teachers and students to experience the features, functionality, and item types in computer-based testing.

Practice Test
Provide students with a grade-specific testing experience that is similar in structure and format to the Field Test, including available supports.
Use the same delivery software as the summative assessments:

1) CALPADS provides student information
2) LEA (district) provides teacher information and identify students' universal tools, designated supports and accommodations.
