Australian Open Australian Open is a tennis tournament. Australian Open logo First held in 1905, the tournament is chronologically the first of the four Grand Slam tennis events of the year – the other three being the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open. History The tournament was first known as the Australasian Championships and then became the Australian Championships in 1927 and the Australian Open in 1969. The Tournament is in Melbourne. In this year Nowak Djokovic won Australian Open. Victoria Azarenka is a winner this tournament in this year. Central cord in Melbourne In this year the most popular Polish tennis player Agnieszka Radwanska reached to quarter-final. The longest match in Australian open lasted 5 hour and 53 minutes.29 January 2012 Novak Djokovic beat Rafael Nadal.
