??What is the Pythagorean Theorem??
It Is a geometry theorem made up by Pythagoras
HOW TO USE THE PYTHAGOREAN THEOREM PART 2
Find the areas of the 2 squares and add them up
a2 + b2= c2
Only works on right triangles
Only works on RIGHT TRIANGLES
Longest side of triangle is called
hypotenuse
Take the
shortest sides (LEGS)
of the triangle and
make them into
squares

How to use The Pythagorean Theorem
The 2 areas combined are the area of the Hypotenuse
EXAMPLE
