the Beast in the Beauty and the Beast, when the Beast is hurt by the pack of wolves, Belle washes his wounds and takes care of him, foreshadowing their relationship that has not yet started to grow. The Phantom
Menace In The Phantom Menace, Yoda says to Anakin, "Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear Leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering. I sense much fear in you." Later in the series, Anakin becomes Darth Vader, the antagonist in the series (who is EVIL!) flashback -- when the story transports you to a previous time, usually giving you necessary information In Titanic, the older woman version of Rose is recounting what happened on the ship, making most of the movie a flashback. Titanic Moulin
Rouge In Moulin Rouge, the character played by Ewan MacGregor is telling the story of falling in love with a courtesan at the Moulin Rouge. Again, nearly the entire story is a flashback. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind In this movie, a man is trying to erase the memory of a woman he dated. The flashbacks are the dreams he has, which are memories of his ex-girlfriend as she is being erased. A heart represent love.
A diamond ring represents the promise to one day get married. Movies! In Letters to Juliet, the letters symbolize romance and hope for women writing to Juliet.
In Kill Bill, the sword represents Uma Thurman's character's power. Literature! In Hatchet, the hatchet symbolizes Brian's will to survive.
In The Giver, Jonas's blue eyes symbolize his "differences."
