The Six Day War began June 5th to June 10th 1967. thats why they call it the six day war
the six day war was fought between: Jordan, Syria, Egypt, and isreal
what happened
Isreal lunched a surprise bombing raid egyptians air fields. then Isreal raided into Jordanian controlled west bank and initaited flights over Syria which ended with aerial clashing over Syriain territory

How it Happened
Israel and it's Arab neighbours had been hostile towards each other since 1948.When Israel finally step up and says they want to be a jewish state. The Arab countries refused to accept that Israel could be a Jewish state. The President of Egypt, Gamal Abdel Nassar, called for the destruction of Israel . the beginning there were just occasional civilian attacks, but then the attacks became more destructive and violent. Because of the the president Nassar closed down the most important trading link between Israel to the rest of the world, the Strait of Tiran. This was an act of war, but they did not know that Israel would strike back with such ferocity
Why did The Six Day War begin
The six day war began because aggresion following numerous border clashes between isreal and it's arab neighbors
The Six Day War ended with them signing a peace treaty
