by Austin Randall prisoners of war the civil war union confederacy the confederate prison's where in the south. the war prisoners where treated horribly. prisoners of the civil war we will now see both sides the union held confederate prisoners in prison's in the north. war prisoners where treated like any other prisoners. what was the major difference between the north and the south, was it there values and beliefs or the north's ability to see a person not by there appearance but by there spirits and souls. prison camps.
